Key components of EFHD:
Horse-Human interaction: Horses are non-judgmental, intuitive animals that mirror human emotions. They respond to human behavior and emotions, which can provide valuable feedback for people seeking to develop self-awareness or emotional regulation. The horse's natural ability to read and respond to human body language helps participants learn more about themselves. In EFHD interactions with the horses is done from the ground, not ridden.
Emotional Regulation: Horses are highly sensitive to the emotional states of humans. They can mirror feelings like anxiety, anger, or calmness, which helps you as a client become more aware of your emotional wellbeing. Through activities, you can learn to manage emotions like anxiety, frustration, fear, etc.
Building Trust and Confidence:
Working with horses requires trust and effective communication. Learning to work with a horse in a safe atmosphere can help grow self-confidence, as you gain the horse's trust and establish partnership.
